Belly Putters for most men are 40" to 43".  Measure the distance your navel is above the floor when standing straight.  Subtract about 2" to get an average length for your belly putter.

Chest Length putters for men are usually from 47"to 52".  Measure the distance from the bottom of your breast bone to the floor when standing straight.   When you bend over slightly, this distance (length of the putter) should position your upper hand (when on the putter grip) in the upper portion of your chest .  Chest length is not as critical as the length of belly putters.

   Side-Saddle putters usually measure from 41" to 48" depending in part to how much you bend.  Measure from the top of you upper hand to the floor (about 4" from the side of your foot.  I will also need the distance from the ground up to the position of you lower hand.
