Most Belly Putters for men measure 40"-44".  Measure the distance your navel is above the floor when standing straight.  Subtract about 2" to get an average length for your belly putter.

Chest length putters usually measure from 48"-53".  Measure the distance from the bottom of your breast bone to the floor when standing straight.   When you bend over slightly, this distance (length of the putter) should position your upper hand (when on the putter grip) in the upper portion of your chest .  Chest length is not as critical as the length of belly putters.
